The Morning Star Fast and Slow
Here is the new set of tunes that we are learning in our classes. Please play along with the recordings this week and next. There will be no classes Sunday, March 22, so classes will return on March 29.
This week, we finished the reel, the Red-Haired Lass. You can find the recording below.
Also, this week we listened to some recordings of some great Irish fiddle players. Martin Hayes, a fiddle player from County Claire and Sean Keane from Dublin who plays with the Cheiftains.
This week, I want everyone to watch a video from either one of these fiddle players or of an Irish musician of your choice during their times practicing. One video is enough.
